Patna, Aug. 29 -- The Patna civil court was evacuated following a bomb threat claiming that four RDX-based improvised explosive devices (IEDs) had been planted inside the premises.
The Registrar of the court issued a letter to the district Bar Association of Patna this afternoon requesting them to vacate the campus of Civil Court, Patna at once.
The registrar said that the evacuation was being done following a threat received via email by an unknown sender.
The email address to the District and Sessions Judge Patna read that 4 RDX IEDS had been planted in the rooms of the judges and at other sensitive places on the Patna Civil Court campus.
