Bokaro, Jan. 1 -- A patient died during treatment at Medicent Hospital in Bokaro's Sector-12 police station area, following which her family accused the hospital doctors of medical negligence.
Police said Jamni Devi, wife of Khedan Rajwar, a resident of Karmatand in Gomia block, had been undergoing treatment at the hospital for the past 15 days. She was earlier referred from a Central Coalfields Limited hospital.
The family alleged that despite her condition being stable initially, proper treatment was not provided and they were discouraged from shifting her elsewhere.
The relatives claimed they were kept uninformed about her condition and handed a hefty bill, and were shocked when the hospital suddenly informed them of her death. Follow...
