Chandigarh, Nov. 17 -- A senior surgeon from Pathankot's White Medical College, Dr. Raees Bhatt, has been released after security agencies questioned him in connection with the Delhi blast.
Officials sought details about Bhatt's professional interactions with Dr Umar Nabi, the man who allegedly caused the blast.
Umar had previously worked at Al-Falah University.
According to Dr. Bhatt, the investigators asked three specific questions - where he had met Umar, whether they had ever communicated, and if any chats or conversations had taken place recently. Bhatt said he answered all queries, underwent a medical examination, and was then informed that he was free to go.
