Dharamshala, Feb. 15 -- Kewal Singh Pathania, Deputy Chief Whip of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly and MLA from Shahpur, laid the foundation stone for a 1.6-km link road from Chaini to Gatdi in Naddi to be constructed at a cost of Rs 1.38 crore.

Addressing the gathering on Friday, Pathania said the proposed Naddi Zip Line Project would be the longest in Asia, with a total length of about 4.8 km.

The project will comprise four stations and three sections and will be executed in Public-Private Partnership (PPP) mode by the Ropeway and Rapid Transport Corporation. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 75 million and it is expected to significantly boost tourism in the region.
