Parth Jindal injured due to firecracker bursting during ISL final: BFC
Bengaluru, April 15 -- Bengaluru Football Club (BFC) owner Parth Jindal sustained burns and bruises after a live firecracker was hurled into the stands occupied by the club's supporters during the Indian Super League (ISL) Final against Mohun Bagan Super Giant in Kolkata on Saturday.
In a strongly worded statement issued on Tuesday, BFC condemned the incident as a "reckless and cowardly" attack by a section of home fans and revealed that one supporter suffered an eye injury that required medical attention, while several others were also injured.
