Mumbai, July 18 -- At least 11 people were injured and several others are feared trapped under the debris after a portion of a ground-plus-three-storey structure in Mumbai's Bandra (East) chawl collapsed early on Friday. According to fire bridge sources, the incident occurred around 5.45 am at Chawl no 37, Bharat Nagar, BKC, near Namaz Committee Masjid, in Bandra area of the city suburb while a ground-plus two-floor structure collapsed. Officials said that 11 people have been rescued from the debris and the injured have been admitted to the nearest civic-run Bhabha Hospital, where they are undergoing treatment.
