Bengaluru, Sept. 4 -- Karnataka Home Minister G. Parameshwara today said that allegations of foreign funding linked to the Dharmasthala mass grave case must be examined by the Central government, stressing that the state administration lacks the authority to probe such matters.

His remarks come amid increasing demands from the BJP, JD(S), and several Hindu organisations for the case to be transferred to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) for a more comprehensive inquiry.

According to sources, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is already monitoring bank accounts of activists involved in protests against temple authorities to verify possible foreign funding.
