Solan, June 28 -- The police today detained a student of Dr. YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry Nauni on the charges of provoking breach of peace and under the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Act.
Giving details, Superintendent of Police Gaurav Singh said that an awareness campaign was organised on drug abuse and illicit trafficking in the University campus in which an Anti-Drug rally was also organised by the students and teachers and other officers, employees of University, on June 24.
