Shahpur (Kangra), Sept. 30 -- Former Speaker and MLA Vipin Singh Parmar on Tuesday said that India's economic future is undergoing a historic transformation under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Addressing the #NextGenGST symposium held in Shahpur Assembly segment of Kangra district, Parmar said the Goods and Services Tax (GST) has proved to be a milestone in making India a global economic power.
He noted that the discussions during the symposium centred around GST rate cuts and new slabs, which he said would benefit the common people, traders and the industry alike. "NextGen GST will not only accelerate economic growth but also create opportunities for small entrepreneurs," Parmar added.
