Srinagar, Sept. 16 -- Chairperson of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Commerce, Dola Sen, today said the panel is committed to playing the role of a "catalyst" in reviving Jammu and Kashmir's commerce.
Sen made the remarks after meeting stakeholders in the tourist resort of Pahalgam during the committee's three-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
She noted that the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Commerce is the first such panel to visit Pahalgam after the April 22 terror attack, in order to listen directly to stakeholders who have suffered immensely.
