New Delhi, July 23 -- For the third consecutive day today, both Houses of Parliament were adjourned after Opposition members created a ruckus in support of their demands, including demanding withdrawal of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls in Bihar.
As soon as the Lok Sabha resumed at 2 PM, presiding officer Krishna Prasad Tenneti began the proceedings, but the Opposition members stormed into the well of the House shouting slogans.
Appealing to the protesting members, Tenneti asked them to allow the House to consider the important bill related to the reservation of seats for Scheduled Tribe members in the Goa Legislative Assembly.
