Chandigarh, Dec. 3 -- Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee President Sunil Jakhar has reacted to the SAD Patron Parkash Singh Badal's decision to return the Padma Vibhushan Award, saying that of course he has taken this decision due to political compulsion and in the party's interest which is opposing these black laws.
His returning the award is being seen as a big mistake of supporting the party but the decision is purely his, said Mr Jakhar.
He said this decision of Mr Badal will further strengthen the struggle of the farmers. But at the same time, he said it is only beneficial if the BJP government also takes the issue of farmers seriously, and they resolve the demands of the farmers by renouncing the 'power of power'.
