Dharamshala, July 9 -- To ensure the safety of tourists during the monsoon season, Deputy Commissioner Kangra, Hemraj Bairwa, has issued an order imposing a complete ban on paragliding activities across Kangra district from July to 15 September.

In the official directive, the Deputy Commissioner emphasised that monsoon weather conditions pose serious risks to aerial adventure sports like paragliding. He has instructed the police department, sub-divisional magistrates, district tourism officer, and the Paragliding Association to implement effective measures to ensure strict compliance with the ban.

Authorities have been directed to remain vigilant and ensure that there is no violation of the order at any level.
