Baijnath, Sept. 22 -- Paragliding activities at Bir-Billing, which were earlier suspended following heavy rainfall warnings issued by the India Meteorological Department, have resumed.
Baijnath Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Sankalp Gautam told UNI that the weather conditions have now improved and no adverse alerts are currently in place. Keeping in view the promotion of tourism and livelihood of locals, the administration has permitted the resumption of paragliding in the valley.
The SDM made it clear that operators must strictly adhere to all safety standards and administrative guidelines. Compliance with directions issued by the district administration and police has been made mandatory for all service providers.
