Dharamshala, Dec. 28 -- One person was killed and another injured in a paragliding accident at the Billing take-off site under Bir police station in Kangra district on December 26, police said here on Sunday.
Kangra district superintendent of police Ashok Rattan told UNI that Mohan Singh, a resident of Lachhayan village under Bardhan post office in Padhar tehsil of Mandi district, was flying a paraglider allegedly in a negligent manner when it crashed shortly after take-off at Billing. In the incident, Parth Dave, a resident of 110/2C, Raja Ram Mohan Roy Sarani, Amherst Street, Kolkata (West Bengal), sustained injuries.
