Amritsar, July 14 -- In a major move towards panthic unity, the five Singh Sahibans convened at Sri Akal Takht Sahib have reversed previous controversial decisions involving Takht Sri Harmandir Ji Patna Sahib. The meeting emphasized reconciliation, respect for Sikh sentiments, and resolving disputes amicably.
Akal Takht Sahib revoked the May 21, 2025, decisions that had barred Bhai Baldev Singh and Bhai Gurdyal Singh from serving at Takht Patna Sahib. Their services have now been fully restored. The decision came after reviewing an appeal sent by the Patna Sahib Committee on July 12.
