Mumbai, April 5 -- Rishabh Pant, captain of the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), has been fined following his team's breach of the minimum over-rate regulations during Match 16 of the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, according to a media advisory. The match took place against Mumbai Indians at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow, on Friday. As per Article 2.22 of the IPL Code of Conduct, which addresses offences related to slow over-rates, Pant has been fined Rs 12 lakh. This fine is imposed as it was his team's first offence of the season.
