Kolkata, Sept. 15 -- The India-Nepal border at Panitanki in Naxalbari block of Darjeeling district has been fully reopened after remaining under temporary restrictions due to recent protests in Nepal.
Darjeeling MP Raju Bista who visited the border to review the situation today confirmed that the border has been made open fully for the people.
During the inspection, he interacted with the Inspector General of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), senior Customs officials, traders, business representatives, and local residents.
"I am happy to report that both Pashupati Fatak and Panitanki border have been opened completely from today," he said.
