Lucknow, Aug. 12 -- Proceedings of the monsoon session of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly were disrupted for the second consecutive day today by Samajwadi Party (SP) members during Zero Hour.
The opposition members staged protests and raised slogans against the government over yesterday's communal incident in Fatehpur. However, question hour earlier in the day passed off peacefully.
Speaker Satish Mahana attempted to pacify the protesting members, but when they refused to relent, he instructed that the agenda be completed amid noisy scenes.
