Pune , Nov. 14 -- The OBC Bahujan Mahasangh has demanded here on Thursday that only genuine members of the Other Backward Classes (OBC) community should get candidature for seats reserved for OBCs in the upcoming Panchayat Samiti and Zilla Parishad elections.
The organisation has warned that if candidates are given nominations based on Kunbi caste certificates, it will join forces with the Republican Party to contest all seats and launch an agitation.
This warning was issued by Balasaheb Zore, president of the Mulshi Taluka OBC Bahujan Mahasangh, during a press conference today.
