Bengaluru, Oct. 15 -- Leaders of the Panchamasali Lingayat community have appealed to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to expedite the Supreme Court case concerning the state's Muslim reservation policy.
The community, currently categorised under OBC Category-3B with a 5% reservation, seeks reclassification to Category-2A, which offers a 15% reservation. They argue that this adjustment would better reflect their socio-economic status and ensure equitable opportunities.
