Panama City, May 23 -- The Civil Aeronautical Authority of Panama (AAC) announced on Thursday the resumption of commercial flights between Panama and Venezuela, ending a 10-month suspension that had disrupted air connectivity between the two nations.
In an official statement, the AAC confirmed that the reactivation of services would proceed under "the principle of reciprocity," meaning that both countries will allow their respective airlines to operate routes equally. "In addition, it should be noted that the reactivation of air operations will be carried out in accordance with the technical capacity of the operators of both countries," the statement added.
