Pathanamthitta, Sept. 19 -- The banks of the river Pampa have been decked up to host the first-ever Global Ayyappa Sangamam, which will be inaugurated by Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan at 10 am tomorrow.

German-hangar style eco-friendly pandals have been constructed at three major sites without disturbing the sanctity or natural terrain of Pampa.

The main venue at Pampa Manappuram, spread across 43,000 sq. ft, will host the inaugural and valedictory sessions and can accommodate nearly 3,000 registered delegates from India and abroad.

A 2,400 sq. ft. stage with green rooms and a media centre has also been readied. Additional facilities include a 4,500 sq. ft. pavilion atop the hill for panel discussions, a 7,000 sq. ft dining hall...
