Sao Paulo, Nov. 3 -- Bruno Rodrigues and Felipe Anderson scored in each half as leaders Palmeiras secured a 2-0 away win over Juventude in Brazil's Serie A.

Rodrigues opened the scoring in the 24th minute in Caxias do Sul by pouncing on a loose ball and firing home from the edge of the six-yard box on Sunday.

Anderson doubled the advantage with a curling effort from 18 yards after Khellven's long pass on the counterattack.

The result leaves Palmeiras with 65 points, a point ahead of second-placed Flamengo with eight matchdays remaining. Juventude is 19th in the 20-team standings with 26 points.
