Rio De Janeiro, Oct. 6 -- Palmeiras recovered from two goals down to climb to the top of Brazil's Serie A with a 3-2 away win over Sao Paulo.
The hosts raced to a two-goal lead courtesy of early strikes from Luciano and Gonzalo Tapia before former Barcelona forward Vitor Roque pulled a goal back with a 70th-minute header on Sunday.
Jose Lopez equalized with a long-range effort and Ramon Sosa completed the turnaround by heading home in the 89th minute following Anibal Moreno's cross.
After the match Palmeiras manager Abel Ferreira said the introduction of Allan, Bruno Fuchs and Mauricio at halftime had changed the course of the match.
"I think we won because the players who came off the bench in the second half made an impact," he said....
