Palamu, July 19 -- Palamu Police today organised a Jansamadhan camp in Mahuadand's Lohbandha village under the "Police at the Doorstep" initiative, drawing a crowd of over 350
villagers.
Held at the Upgraded Middle School, the camp aimed to address rural grievances on land, pensions, education, anganwadi services, and Naxal surrender policies.
Officials, including ASP Rakesh Singh, SDM Om Prakash Gupta, and SDPO Mohammad Yaqub, heard and responded to issues on the spot.
A moving moment came when Neha Kumari, daughter of slain ex-Naxalite Ajay Yadav, addressed the gathering. "Naxalism gave us nothing but loss and struggle. I urge youth to reject violence and walk with education and development," she said.
