Palakkad, Oct. 10 -- Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Madhukar Roat announced that the Palakkad Railway Division has been honoured with the prestigious Vishist Rail Seva Puraskar, along with a series of top performance shields, in recognition of its outstanding efficiency, innovation, and overall excellence. These accolades were presented by the General Manager of Southern Railway during the 70th Railway Week Celebrations 2025.
Speaking at a press conference held at the DRM office, Roat said that Palakkad Division was awarded the General Manager's Efficiency Shield, the highest honour bestowed upon any division of Southern Railway.
