Bulandshahr, April 24 -- In a major breakthrough, security agencies and local police in Bulandshahr have arrested a Pakistani national who had been living illegally in India for nearly four decades under a false identity, officials said on Friday.
The operation was carried out by a police team led by Kotwali in-charge Dharmendra Rathore during a late-night patrol on Thursday. Acting on a tip-off from an informant, the police received credible information about a suspicious foreign national residing in the Sushila Vihar area and heading toward Numaish Ground. The team swiftly cordoned off the area and detained the suspect near a railway line.
