Bahraich, Nov. 15 -- After the bomb blast near Delhi's Red Fort, intensified security checks along the Indo-Nepal border yielded a major breakthrough on Saturday, with a Pakistani man and woman, both reportedly medical professionals, being arrested after they illegally entered Indian territory.

Following the incident in Delhi, security agencies had declared a high alert along the Uttar Pradesh-Nepal border. Teams from the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and local police launched rigorous checking operations throughout the day. During this drive, personnel at the Rupaidiha border noticed the suspicious behaviour of two foreign nationals attempting to enter India from Nepal.
