Islamabad, Sept. 25 -- Pakistan on Friday reported 798 new cases of COVID-19 in last 24 hours while seven people died in the same period. The death toll mounted to 6,444 while the country caseload has jumped to 3,09,015. Pakistan -- world's fifth most populous nation with near 22 crore people-- conducted only 37,504 tests in past one day. According to National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), the country has so far conducted 33,44,019 tests. There are now 7,831 active cases in the country while so far 2,94,740 people have been cured and discharged. Out of the active cases, 544 are said to be critical.
