Islamabad, Nov. 13 -- The Pakistan National Assembly on Thursday approved a series of significant amendment bills concerning the country's armed forces and judiciary, marking another major phase in the government's legal overhaul following the passage of the 27th Constitutional Amendment last week.
Among the bills passed were the Pakistan Army Act Amendment Bill, the Pakistan Air Force Act 1953 Amendment Bill, and the Pakistan Navy Act Amendment Bill 2025- all presented by Defence Minister Khawaja Asif. The Assembly also adopted amendments to the Supreme Court Practice and Procedure Act 2023, introduced by Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar.
