Islamabad, April 7 -- Pakistan has given written assurances to the IMF committing to a sweeping set of anti-corruption reforms tied to its ongoing financial programme, including public disclosure of civil servants' assets and structural changes to strengthen accountability institutions.
At the centre of the commitments is a plan to publish asset declarations of senior federal civil servants by December 2026. The reform will introduce a centralised digital system for submission and collection, backed by risk-based verification and limited public disclosure rules to protect sensitive personal data.
The Federal Board of Revenue is developing a dedicated digital platform for this purpose, expected to be operational by June 2026.
