Karachi, May 13 -- Mike Hesson has been announced as the white-ball head coach of the men's team, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed on Tuesday.

Hesson steps into the role previously held by Aqib Javed, who served as the interim head coach following Gary Kirsten's departure in October 2024. Javed will remain involved with Pakistan cricket, transitioning to the position of Director of High Performance.

Hesson, currently the head coach of Islamabad United in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), will take over the reins of Pakistan's national white-ball team from May 26.
