Islamabad, July 25 -- Pakistan's Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) seized over 1,076 kg of narcotics and arrested 33 suspects during a series of operations across the country over the past five days, the ANF said in a statement on Friday.

The seized drugs, worth more than 302 million Pakistani rupees (about 1.09 million U.S. dollars), were recovered in coordinated raids in various districts.

In Islamabad and its neighboring Rawalpindi district, the ANF confiscated over 20 kg of hashish, heroin and crystal meth from vehicles, courier parcels and motorcyclists, including suspects who confessed to selling drugs to students.
