Islamabad/Kabul, Oct. 22 -- Authorities in both Pakistan and Afghanistan are reportedly preparing for a second round of negotiations to be held in Istanbul, as per Afghan media reports.
The next stage of the peace talks will focus primarily on technical discussions on the mechanisms to be enacted by the two sides, following the Doha ceasefire accord.
Pakistan's Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif had called the Doha agreement "classified," and left details under wraps, sparking demands for transparency, by Afghan officials and civilians alike, both of whom have argued that all Afghan citizens have a right to information on matters concerning national interest.
