New Delhi, Jan. 9 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Friday accused the Opposition of targeting her with personal remarks and baseless allegations, saying she was pained by the way a woman chief minister was targeted.

Speaking during the discussion on the Lieutenant Governor's address in the Delhi Assembly, she alleged that she was troubled by repeated attempts to undermine her work.

"A woman chief minister working round-the-clock does not seem to sit well with them. Sometimes they make insulting remarks, or cheap comments, baseless allegations, and sometimes they nitpick words," she said.
