Kochi, April 23 -- Mortal remains of RSS activist N Ramachandran, a native of Edappally, who was gunned down in front of his daughter and grandsons in the Pahalgam terror attack, were brought to Cochin International Airport here on Wednesday around 8.00 pm.

Kerala Minister for Agriculture P Prasad, Opposition leader in Kerala Assembly VD Satheesan, BJP State President Rajeev Chandrasekhar and Congress MP Hibi Eden paid homage to Ramachandran at the airport.

A large number of people reached the airport and paid their last respects to the terror victim, sources said.

Later, the body was taken to a private hospital in Kochi. The funeral will be held at Changampuzha crematorium at 11.30 am on Friday.
