Los Angeles, Oct. 4 -- The Pacific Airshow, one of the largest of its kind in the United States, kicked off Friday in Southern California, featuring a lineup of world-class performances.
The annual event took to the skies above Huntington Beach, a seaside city in Orange County, California, and will run through Sunday.
Due to the current U.S. government shutdown, the country's military assets are not participating in this year's event, according to the event organiser.
This year's program includes the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, Britain's Royal Air Force Falcons, Aaron Fitzgerald flying the Red Bull BO-105 aerobatic helicopter, the historic heavy bomber aircraft B-29 "Doc," and Australian aerobatic pilot Emma McDonald, among others, accord...
