Shillong, Sept. 1 -- A museum showcased and celebrated the life and legacy of former LokSabha Speaker and founding member of National People's Party (NPP), Purno Agitok Sangmawas inaugurated today.
The museum located at Williamnagar, the district headquarters of East Garo Hills, in Meghalayawas opened by Cabinet Minister and senior NPP leader, Marcuise Marak, as part of the 78th birth anniversary of the former Lok Sabha Speaker.
The initiative is to encourage old and young, particularly the youth to understand the ideals and philosophy of PA Sangma.
Chief Minister Conrad Sangma latter visited the museum, and witnessed the immersive experience that displayed epic moments of his PA Sangma's life.
