Patna, March 17 -- Bihar Industry Minister Nitish Mishra said that more than Rs 2000 crore has been invested in Food processing industry in the state where 10000 such units were established under specific scheme.

While replying to a starred question of Manohar Prasad Singh during pre lunch sitting in the state assembly on Monday, Mishra said that after covid special scheme was prepared under the guidance of the Prime Minister to promote food processing industry. He said more than 10000 units of food processing units where covered under this scheme and over Rs 2000 crore were invested under the policy in Bihar.
