Hyderabad, Nov. 28 -- The Bharatiya Kala Mahotsav at Rashtrapati Nilayam, Secunderabad, has drawn an overwhelming response, with more than one lakh people visiting the venue in just seven days.
The second edition of the cultural festival, which began on November 22, will continue until November 30, and officials expect footfalls to rise further as the weekend approaches.
Sales of handlooms and handicrafts displayed at the festival have touched nearly Rs 2 crore, reflecting strong public enthusiasm for traditional textiles and craft work. Food stall sales have also crossed Rs 27 lakh. Rashtrapati Nilayam authorities said the numbers demonstrate the growing interest in cultural heritage and artisan-led products.
