Srinagar, July 8 -- The annual Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra has witnessed an overwhelming spiritual turnout, with over 1 lakh pilgrims performing darshan at the holy cave shrine within the first six days of the pilgrimage.
The announcement was made by Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, who
also serves as the Chairman of the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB), the body responsible
for overseeing the pilgrimage.
"The journey of faith, holy Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra has surpassed one lakh pilgrims within the first six days of pilgrimage. The spiritual festivity and Yatra is continuing smoothly on both the Pahalgam and Baltal routes and expected to draw more devotees in the days to come," office of J&K LG said in a post on X.
