The families were received by Afghan authorities, who provided registration, biometric checks, cash aid, SIM cards, and transport assistance, according to the country's state-owned-media agency-Bakhtar News.

The number of returned refugees, totalling more than 3,300 individuals as of now, was coordinated by the High Commission for Refugee Management through major transit points including Torkham, Spin Boldak, Nangarhar, and Herat. Dedicated committees were on hand to support reintegration, covering logistics, health services, and financial matters.
