Bhadohi (UP), Sept. 20 -- More than a dozen people have been detained while cases have been filed against more than four dozen unidentified individuals for allegedly raising provocative, objectionable slogans and waving the Palestinian flag in Bhadohi district in Uttar Pradesh, a police officer said here todaySuperintendent of Police (SP) Abhimanyu Manglik said reports of the waiving the Palestinian flag and the raising slogans 'Sir tan se juda' in Aurai and Bhadohi towns of the district were circulating on social media. "This could disrupt mutual brotherhood and harmony and pose a threat to law and order," he said.
He said at least 18 people have been detained and are being questioned in the case.
