Hyderabad, March 25 -- Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu on Wednesday informed the Assembly that the state government has taken significant steps to fill vacant posts across departments, with over 67,000 positions already filled since assuming office.
In a written reply to the questions raised by the members of the house during Question Hour, he stated that 16 notifications have been issued so far for filling 31,798 vacant posts in various government departments. Of the total recruitments, 16,978 posts were filled through notifications issued by the present government, while 50,785 posts were filled by completing recruitment processes initiated under the previous government.
