New Delhi, Dec. 15 -- At least 61 flights have been cancelled and five diverted at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) on Monday due to dense fog and low visibility.

The Ministry of Civil Aviation has issued a heavy fog alert for Delhi and other northern Indian airports, urging passengers to check their flight status, allow extra travel time, and remain patient as safety takes priority.
