Bhubaneswar, Jan. 5 -- Demanding revised pay at par with Central pay structure, over 6,000 doctors, posted in government-run hospitals across Odisha today resorted to two-hour cease work from the outpatient department (OPD) services, partially affecting the day-to-day functioning of hospitals.

State's Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling appealed to the doctors to abstain from two-hour duty boycott in larger public interest and assured the medicos that the government is looking into their demands.
