Barabanki, Aug. 14 -- Over 30 passengers were injured, two of them critically, when a double-decker bus traveling from Gorakhpur to Delhi overturned late last night near Dharauli village in the Ramsanehighat police station area on the Lucknow-Ayodhya highway.
The accident caused panic on the highway as loud screams alerted nearby villagers, who rushed to the scene to rescue those trapped inside the overturned bus. Local residents, along with police and administrative officials who arrived shortly after being informed, worked together for nearly an hour to rescue all passengers.
