Chhapra, June 11 -- More than 18 policemen who were on way to Siwan for an event featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi sustained injuries in a collision between a bus and a truck in the Doriganj police station area of Saran district in Bihar. Police sources said on Wednesday that a bus carrying 45 policemen was on its way to Siwan via the Chhapra-Ara Bir Kunwar Singh Bridge to make security arrangements for an event of the Prime Minister.

The bus broke down on a bridge near Doriganj police station, with the driver inspecting it when an uncontrolled truck hit it violently.

Sources said that more than 18 policemen and bus drivers were injured in this incident.
