Lucknow, Oct. 6 -- Uttar Pradesh Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Excise and Prohibition, Nitin Agarwal, has said that excise revenue collections of Rs 26,149.32 crore have been collected in the month of September 2025-26 an increase of Rs 3,586.17 crore, or 15.89 percent, compared to the revenue of Rs 22,563.15 crore achieved in September in the previous year, 2024-25.
The Excise Minister informed today that the target of the state till September, 2025 was Rs. 27,600.00 crore and the department has collected 94.74 percent revenue against the target.
